July 6, 20242 yr Popular Post This is a list of the Burma / Thai land crossings At this time ONLY the Ranong/Kawthaung crossing in Ranong Province is open to foreigners bouncing out and back Mae Sai/Tachileik in Chiang Rai Province <- CLOSED Mae Sot/Myawaddy in Tak Province <- CLOSED Phu Nam Ron/Htee Khee in Kanchanaburi Province <- CLOSED Ranong Pier/Kawthaung in Ranong Province (where you take a boat across) <- OPEN Edited July 6, 20242 yr by Tod Daniels
July 6, 20242 yr As Tod mentioned Ranong Pier crossing is open and seems easy BUT not an option if you have already done 2 overland trips already. You might be told from agents that it's possible but several people were turned back. If doing a border bounce I would recommend over Satun as the travel time is shorter.

I don't want to bother people with this question needlessly in the future. Thanks
