Thewayup
Hi, I'm traveling to Vietnam with a Thai friend. I know that Thais can enter Vietnam free of charge, for 30 days. But does he need to get permission from a Viet embassy in advance? Does he need to give passport photos, or provide evidence of a return flight, hotel bookings or proof of adequate funding in cash? Or will they just stamp his passport on arrival, no questions asked? Thanks in advance!
hanno
I have Thai friends that come to Vietnam on a regular basis; they just roll up and get the visa.
seaeagle
Vietnam is member of ASEAN, so no problem with Thais travelling anywhere in this 'union'. Edited November 10, 2009 by seaeagle
