MattFS218
I'm wondering if anyone knows which Banks in Thailand correctly code the 150bt ATM withdraw fees for foreign cards as an ATM fee. My Etrade account reimburses me ATM fees, and will typically do it automatically as long as the deducted amount has the ACTUAL amount with a separate amount for the ATM fee. I know Bangkok Bank correctly codes the the 150bt fee as an ATM fee (so I instantnously get creidted back the ATM withdraw fee) but do other banks in Thailand do this? if so, can anyone confirm is Kaskikorn or KrungThai ATMs do this? What about Government Savings Bank? Thanks. --matt
ballzafire
Find and use the nearest AEON ATM and the whole thing is moot...
MattFS218
The nearest Aeon ATM costs more than 150baht in gasoline alone to get to...thanks for the ever so helpful response.
MattFS218
btw, I can report that Krung Thai Bank correctly codes the ATM withdraw fee as a fee, and was automatically credited back to my ETrade account--I'd guess it's the same way with charles schwab, etc.
