Bulk Food Supply Shop In Phuket Town

Hi, Someone told me there is a place in Phuket Town that sells bulk food items and that is where many restaurants get their supplies. However this person said she could only drive me there as she could not explain it.

Anyone ?

I think its makro, lots of food businesses shop there you can tell by the amount they purchase, you can get a free day pass to shop there at the front desk as you go in, its on the road from patong to phuket town right hand side just before central shopping centre.

I vaguely remember now that an ex Phuket restaurant owner told me a few years ago there is (?used to be?) a place close to the market in downtown Phuket Town selling goods in bulk quantities. Does anybody know more?

Someone who just moved here might not know about Makro, but the OP would. Some common sense could tell that.

Ok plan B to find the missing info. Back to the person who told me and will get some contact info of the friend of hers who goes there. She swore it was not Super Cheap..

I even asked the chef at work but he does all his ordering via the phone.

If you are coming from Saphan Hin or immigration towards the town turn right at the lights, go past Robinsons & continue straight through the next lights, a little further down on the right (before the big circle) you will see a place called Food Barn or something like that. I have never been in there but it may be the one you are looking for.
