There is no biden crime family btw, congress has reached that conclusion already. A new enquiry will yield the same result and again cost money and distract from Congress' tasks.
It's obvious the conviction stemmed from Hunter being the son of the president. I therefore understand the pardon, being it wise is a different matter.
Other pardons were done by presidents from both sides for people with convictions that were not related to politics.
