Hi everyone,

I have a bit of a problem. I have been working in Bangkok for the last few months and doing a regular 9-5 position but now my hours will be changing to 2pm to about 11pm. I am living in Pattaya and have been happily making this trip but the buses from Ekami and Morchit to Pattaya stop around 10pm.

Does anyone know of any minibus companies or other bus companies that operate any later from anywhere in Bangkok as i really want to continue living in Pattaya, work in Bangkok and make the trip everyday ?

Or even worst case, does anyone know a cheap taxi company that my come to an agreement on a good price if i am doing this everyday ?

Sorry in advance for being rude here but my experience of some bitter, been here too long ! farangs on this website forces me to say that I am only looking for direct answers to this question and no other. I do not need opinions on whether i should be doing this trip, have i got a thai girl, am i wasting money...etc etc etc.

Thanks very much in advance.

Stephen

As far as I know the last bus from Ekamai to Pattaya leaves at 11 pm (that's what they told me when I called). I am not aware of any minivans going to pattaya. Try to find out if this is true and if you can, try to finish a little earlier to catch the bus.

I would rent a cheap condo and stay in BKK during the week for B4000 a month near Seacon Sq for example .Spending 5 hours a day just to get to work is not something i would do ,but up to you ..

There are minivans which go to Victory Monument. Just south of Foodland on Pattaya Klang, same side. Don't think they are late but about every hour or so starting early in the AM. Apx 150baht. Return from the same place in Bangkok. Might also be a second service accross from the new Central Festival Mall on 2nd road but this outfit wants to overcharge farangs. Pattaya Klang straight forward honest business folks.
