anonymouse
I've found the price of contact lenses slightlly less than I would pay if I buy them over the internet when I'm in the UK that's for monthly disposables. I buy three months supply for 500 baht [maybe 450baht?] in an opticians in Gad Suan Gaow. The cleaning solution is less than half the price what I pay in the UK so it's a good deal. Curt1591
Biggest difference is lack of selection in Thailand.
Yunnie
I wrote about contacts in the Glasses post - http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Glasses-t340179.html "As for contacts - alot cheaper then US. Its $36 for 3 month (3 pairs) of contacts in the US. For me in Thailand 1 box (1 pair) was 170 baht. So if you want to save the most money... contacts are the way to go and just save your old glasses as backup for lazy days." My contacts are DUNA Life. Irish brand? Saids its made by Bausch and Lomb Ireland. A bit different in feel from what I wear back in the US, but its not horrible or anything. I normally get Freshlook Colorblends. Anyone know if they have that here in Thailand?
