I must have had a bit of a brain fade. I changed my p/w X P Pro and didn't return to my computer for around 10 days by which time my password had slipped into the ether.

Question? How do I get beck into my computer and start afresh.

I recommend "HirenBoot" this will delete your logon password when you boot with CD

anywhere if you install XP with none-licens (from Pantip or another computer shop) so you can press "CTRL+ALT+DEL" 2 times when you see welcome screen

and you have to put administrator on logon name and password it's blank (no password) then enter

if you can logon so you can go to control panel > user setting > and change you password
