Travelling To Bkk, But Passport Only Valid For 8 Months. Ok?

Featured Replies

Hello All.

I'm scheduled to fly from Delhi to Bangkok on 24 May. I'm American and my passport expires in mid January of 2011. Completely forgot the expiration date was coming. I understand Thailand requires that there are at least 6 months validity remaining on a passport before permitting entry into the country. I'm cutting it close -- just short of eight months left. Will I have any problems?

By the way, I plan to stay in Thailand for about 12 days.

Thanks very much in advance.
