How Much Is A Used Entry Level Laptop?

Featured Replies

How much, roughly, is an entry level used Thai spec and keyboard laptop, running Windows XP, say?

512 or 1gb of ram, processor and HDD size not vital.

I know Ebay and online auctions are not very developed in Thailand, so presume they have to be bought in a shop.

Are there shops selling used machines in most Thai cities?

Specifically interested in Chon Buri, City not Pattaya.

Thank you.

My Dell Inspiron was stolen in Phuket in April; 1yr 7 mths old.

Police told me it would change hands for 'a box of Chang' or 'some yaba'.

I looked re second-hand but couldn't locate any sellers (actually hoped mine would turn up); for the potential problems of second hand, I bought new, for under 20k seemed the better option.

There is a Tukcom in Sri Racha. Try there.

There's a shop in Bkk, where you could re-buy your notebook. Don't know where, but ask a Thai to show you where.

Re-Buy ???

lol

Asus netbook can be had new for about 10kbht

Pantip BKK. Many used laptops up towards the top floor. Starting at low prices, less than 5000 going up to as much as you care to spend. They can also supply you with any software you need.
