Big fire in our Moo Baan this afternoon-again!

This one is a classic. A few rai of land owned by a local bank was badly overgrown. The Moo Baan asked the bank to clear the land as it was a fire hazard.

The bank's solution-they sent a 74 year old man to burn it. Of course it got out of control and fire service had to come and put it out-trust they will bill the bank for their time.

I posted of 2 brush fires in the same day in our remote abandoned moo baan last week. One was obviously a lazy rice farmer clearing his land and it got out of control and burned maybe 10-20 rai and moved into our moobaan. The 2nd fire was started within our moobaan and quickly extinguished at around 8pm. Then just last night 10pm, we had another brush fire inside the moobaan and we're thinking it could easily be intentional. Luckily the local fire truck responded quickly and got the last 2 fires out in minutes.
