Portlandstone
What is BCCT?
rich1
BCCT is British Chamber of Commerce. The message was originally broadcat by them prior to posting here. I have spoken to the bloodbank tonight and they now have the b- required. However, if anyone of that group would like to call them they are very grateful to take contact numbers in case a similar need arises in future. Thank you to all and a special thanks to George and his administrators who reacted so quickly and kept bumping it back to the top. Many thanks. beppi
I am B-, but saw the threat too late. Will call and get on the list of potential donors for the future. This blood group is virtually non-existent here (and rare in the West, too). Asians are so predominantly Rhesus positive that most of them don't even know what they are and that a +/- exists ... allane
Moving off-topic Iknow... but I am B-. And, we are a rare breed here in Asia. I am just in the process of moving from Bangkok to Pattaya. Does anyone know if either of the hospitals in Pattaya maintains a register of people who are in the rare blood types, or asks for periodic donations ?
