webfact Posted July 7, 2010 Share Posted July 7, 2010 Body found washed up on beach on Larn Island off the coast of Pattaya PATTAYA: -- On Tuesday Afternoon, Police and Sea Rescue Units were called to Larn Island to deal with a human corpse which had been washed up on Samaer Beach, one of a number of beaches on the Island frequented by foreign tourists. The body was discovered by Khun Tanyoo aged 45, who was fishing on nearby rocks when he spotted the body. Upon closer inspection it was found to be the naked body of a male and there is a suspicion it could be a foreigner, rather than a Thai, due to the color of the skin. Due to the level of decomposition no other clues as to the cause of death could be ascertained. The body was taken to Pattaya where a post mortem examination will take place.
