Thai Visa For 3 Months

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

First of all thank you because this forum is helping me to start understanding more and more about thailand, where I want to go in december, and there are my questions:

I am a british passport holder and I would like to spend 3 months in thailand but everywhere I seem to look those visas are to get married, and I can't be bothered to marry there ^_^ so could I get a non-inmigrant visa for up to 6 months, and if I do I would love that you tell me where to contact, because I actually live in spain.

And second I most probably will travel to vietnam for a couple of weeks, so is it worth to get the visa from here so then I don't have problems there?¿ or is too much of a hassle and just do it then and there.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

A single Tourist Visa will give 60 days and can be extended for a further 30 days.

A 2 entry Tourist Visa will give double the above.

All you need are tourist visas and they are currently free of charge - a couple weeks before travel apply at a Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate. You may be able to get a two entry but if only one you can get another while in Vietnam. You can get Vietnam visa in Bangkok or before you travel or apply on-line to get on arrival but be aware most visas have to be used within 90 days of issue.

Thank you very much for the information, I think it's been perfectly explained, because in mid november I can take the visas and go vietnam say jan, and then back for the rest.

I will tell you all about it when I come back.

Regards.
