thaiowl
When I watch UBC (I have a 1996 Pace decoder) and switch channels, the programme details at the bottom of the screen correspond to when I last watched UBC, not what's currently being shown. Normally, if I go up a channel and then back down, the details are correct. This is really annoying when I want to quickly surf channels to see if there's anything good to watch. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? I have used the "pulling out the power lead" method for a few years to correct other problems, but this problem won't go away. LivinLOS
I always had problems with UBC guides when I didnt have the normal UBC box.. In the end I just figured UBC were not complying properly to standards but never investigated much..
Camelot
I've got the same Pace decoder model and have exactly the same problem. It started about a couple of years ago and seems to be one UBC can't, or won't, fix. Before that it was fine. The slow way is to hit the TV Guide on the remote. That briefly mutes the sound, but tells you what you are watching on the screen.
