Job Description

The Mobile Software Developer role at Agoda is an integral piece of the mobile development environment. Successful candidates will be expected to design, develop, and deploy applications for iPhone and iPad.

Experience

· 4+ years software development

· 2+ years application development for iPhone/iPad

· Experience developing object-oriented solutions

Education

Candidate should have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Skills/Abilities

· Strong analysis, problem solving and programming skills

· Experience developing commercial or personal mobile applications

· Experience with mobile platforms; iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, etc...

· Cocoa and Objective-C development experience

· Experience in Object-Oriented design and Systems Architecture

· Experience building high performance client applications for desktop of mobile platforms

· Experience with Location Based Services is a plus

· Ability to work with minimal supervision and commit to the agreed deliverables and schedules once targets and goals have been assigned

· Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment

· Excellent communication skills and willing to learn non-technical business and industry knowledge

· Coding using best practices, such as integration, performance, and security, following Microsoft Best Practices

· Strong English, in speaking, reading and writing – must be able to communicate in English and be willing to improve
