Pink Mist
I had to reload 98 onto an old 486 and am down to 16 colours in the screen setup. I seem to remember that you had 256 colour or higher option. The question is where has this gone? cant find it on the install disc any ideas? francois
hi bronco' it seems to me that I had this problem on an old p166 ... sometime ago do you have a video-card? or is it on board? as far as I remember, it was a question of drivers, and with the bios settings ... something like a shared memory stuff ... I might be wrong here, but it's so long ago have you got any drivers for video? francois
Pink Mist
I think you might be right, I was given this machine and it's previous owner said it had been tweaked. I was looking at the drivers and cards the other day I willget a list and get back to you. I seem to remember downloading a driver off the web for more colours bronco
