I have two friends who wish to visit me in Uk for 5- 7 days holiday . She is thai national with

temporary resident Swedish permit . She is married to Swedish national.

My questions are .

1) Can she apply for visa from within Sweden.

2) Would i be required to provide proof of accomodation and she have to satisfy the usual

criteria of " Reason to Return " to Sweden

She does not work as she is raising their 2 year old child.Her husband would provide

all financial assistance in funding their holiday .

If the Thai national is married to a Swedish national and resident in Sweden, and providing they are travelling together, she could apply for an EEA Family Permit rather than a visa, they are issued free and there are not so many hoops to jump through.

They will travel together and will go the EEA Family permit rout .
