snapperpete
Hi everyone. I'm looking for advise on the best lake/fishing spot to stay overnight around Bangkok in the next week. I would like to keep cost down, do some great fishing, hire some gear, eat good food and drink some beer. I will probably hire a guide too, as I haven't done much fresh water fishing. I've read that some places are more pricey than others so some local advise would be much appreciated. Cheers, Pete.
robblok
Bungsamran is expensive but you can stay overnight but you have to pay for the pond and bungalow every 12 hours. Cha am fishing park is an other good one but it is not open 24 hours but there are nice bungalows and the price is not that high. Ngau nam you can sleep in a hammock and the price is real low, you can hire a guide there too and gear too. Its real cheap but its a hard lake.
