Strange Annoying Torrent Problem

I have experienced an annoying torrent download problem

I got a torrent for Hawai 5O pilot episode.

It immediately found some 20 peers and was roaring at

300+ KB/sec. Then at about 32% complete it shut off.

The peers were still there but EVERY one stopped sending.

I then tried another 3 episodes and the exact same thing

happened. All three were roaring away with tons of peers and

then one by one they stopped; all of them having completed

32 to 35% of the job.

Do I have a switch set incorrectly ?

Is True shutting me down ?

I am encrypted and so are all the peers according to the flags.

Any insight is appreciated

Thank you

try another torrent, not Hawaii 50, and if it downloads then you know what the problem is.

Maybe have a look at ahashare see if you can find it there as well, if it is there look for the one uploaded by tvfans, that will definitely finish very quickly

I've had similar problems, not on that file, though. After looking carefully, I find that all the other peers have 35% of the file, so once I've acquired that, we're all stopped at that level, waiting for someone with more to start seeding. Wait or find another tracker.

if you use Utorrent highlight the torrent then go to the tab at the bottom under general, then look at the hash, left mouse click, hit copy, then go to your search engine on your browser paste the hash number and search, look for isohunt, click the torrent, look at the seeders list, add these to the torrent by clicking Open or properties, then copy the trackers from Isohunt and add them there, remember to add a seperate line after each one, then click OK. (make sure you start with http://)

example: http://tracker.ilibr.org:6969/announce

http://exodus.1337x.org/announce

http://nemesis.1337x.org/announce

Note: to the mods these are not links they are just torrent trackers, so please do not delete as this information could assist others.

Thank you for all the good information and suggestions

I think the problem is that all the peers have no more than 30-35% of the file.

I will wait a bit and then look for another torrent for this content.

Thank you again

Great tip Beano.... much appreciated.... Honestly your instructions were not real well defined and clear but being the tech savoy person I am I was able to figure out what you were trying to describe... Now some of those torrents that have been stuck for weeks are taking off again with adding the new trackers.... (I guess if I took the time to read some online utorrent help I perhaps could have figured this out but you made it easy for me without doing a lot of research.... again a big thanks!)
