TheLaughingMan
I totally forget if they took down the night bazar at lumpini? If they did is there another place to go that offers the same kind of shopping? Please let me know and I'll love you forever, no homo.

Phuket Stan
A super badly needed new shopping mall is going to be built on the site plus a couple of high end hotels. Edited March 4, 2011 by Phuket Stan
montrii
The new "crappy" night bazaar, as "Who, me" terms it, is called Paradise Night Bazaar, and is just starting out. It's already becoming a big scene to the locals, and when the 2 new BTS stations (Punnawitthi and Udomsuk), which it lies between, open up in August, I think it will get huge. The beer garden there, which fronts on Sukhumvit directly across from Soi 101/1, is already booming on the weekends. Things change. I remember when there was a weekend market at Sanaam Luang and none at Jatujak. I also remember when Jatujak was a good place to buy stuff cheap (still is, for some things). Let's give this place a chance and see what happens in a year or two.
GreenSnapper
Does the new beergarden have international beers, or just Chang/Singh?
