raro
I'm a bit confused here and got different advises from different people. I want to buy a Motorola Droid Pro off e-bay or wherever and a friend of mine who is currently in the US could bring it along on his way back. The phone is Quadband - would it work here in Thailand? george
Yes, if it's unlocked.
GreenSnapper
If you want to use 3G here, your phone needs to support 850, 900, 2100 MHz. Otherwise you may not be able to use all providers.
lomatopo
As long as it is unlocked and supports GSM 900/1800 it will "work" here. Work = voice/text/gprs. If you think you need 3G then take GreenSnappers advice. It seems like thre are at least four different versions of this phone so make sure you buy one that will work. raro
thanks for all your advice! As for 3G, well, until this is available in Thailand I am probably three phones further...four different models sounds scary to me, will do some research and report back.
