eateer Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 I am 29 year old American Male and i am starting to experience a substantial amount of hair loss, and extremely itchy scalp. FBN Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 See a dermatologist; you may have a fungal infection and make sure the doc does scrapings for examination under UV and other lab tests. eateer Posted May 12, 2011 Author Share Posted May 12, 2011 Thanks, that is kinda what i was worried about. This doesn't feel like natural hair loss with age. And both of my grandfathers still have the majority of their hair, so i felt natural causes were a long shot. Any recommendations on a good dermatologist? FBN Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 If you are in BKK, it would be worth while to check out the dermatologists on the Bumrungrad hospital website; the dermatology dept of the hospital is in another building and separated from the general mayhem of the main facility.
