cmsally
Does anybody know if there is a SKAL club in Chiang Mai. I know there used to be one but went to there website (for Thailand) and sent off an email but no reply. I heard that it had been disbanded in Chiang Mai but still has members in Bangkok, Phuket etc.

cmsally
SKAL Skal is an association for people in tourism. Name derived from something Scandinavian - see link.
Priceless
SKAL (there should be a small circle over the A) is simply the Swedish word for the following: English: CHEERS German: PROST Thai: CHOK DEE Might give some hint as to the club's activities... p1p
Margaret at the "Welcome to Chiangmai and Chiangrai" Magazine is a prime mover in Skal in the north. They have meetings about once a month.
