Children’s ID act put into affect

BANGKOK, 10 July 2011 (NNT)- As part of the Children Identification Cards Act, a 100 baht fine will be imposed on applicants who exceed the one-year application deadline. The Department of Provincial Administration provides free service for four different provinces.

According to Director General of the Provincial Administration Department, Mongkol Surasatcha, the Children Identification Cards Act of 2011 had taken effect requiring children aged 7-14 to carry identification cards. A submission of request will be necessary for kids of 7 years within the first 60 days.

Those aged less than 15 years will need to submit an application within one year to receive a free-of-charge benefit and those who exceed the deadline are to be charged a 100 baht fee. The Department will provide a mobile service which will provide ID application free of charge at four different schools including Ratchabophit School in Bangkok, Wat Suwan Bumrung Rachawararam School in Phathum Thani province, Wat Ku School in Nonthaburi province and Santi Witthaya School in Chiang Rai province.

Get the names down asap, indoctrinate the idea of place by carrying cards for "identification" as children, then the masses can be controlled and taught how the "Nation" cares for them.........

An utter waste of time and money.
