modafinil
I went to Laos two months ago where I was issued with a 2X Tourist Visa. Apparently the usual procedure after 2 months is to get another 30 days on your passport at the local immigration office (Phuket in my case), but I've managed to cock it up - my stamp expires tomorrow and the local office isn't open. If I go to Ranong tomorrow for a visa run, will I get an extension for another 2 months (which I can then extend by another 30 days)? Thank you. lopburi3
Yes but it is your second visa entry rather than an extension and you must exit/return to Thailand.

Mario2008
You should be able to get your 30 day extension on Monday, as your permision to stay ends on a day they are closed. Normally no overstay is fined in such a case.
