roban
Hi, I recently rented a shophouse on Soi Khao Noi, near ChokChai4. Location is ~1Km distance from the railway. So, now I am looking for the "best" ISP for my new house. I heard something about TOT and glass fiber cables? Most important thing is a stable line, not the max. available download rate. ~ 6 Mbit DL should be enough. Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance Edited September 1, 2011 by roban
jeff_gangl
I use TOT...in Banglamung....no problems other than a router crapped out....twice....lol The first time they replaced at TOT center road....second time they sent out for repair so I obviously had to buy another one until it was returned...which it was... I suppose at the end of the day....I have a router for sale....hahaha

DocW
Choose TOT if you want your hair to turn grey or fall out from Lies and crap Choose 3BB if you want the best in my opinion. Buy an air-card for back-up from tukcom.

Buy an air-card for back-up from tukcom. Agree with the "TOT" thing. I have it now for one year, but in another area from Pattaya. And yes, it's really crap. Especially the cables to our house.. But 1 Mbit Upload. Two years before, I had True on Soi Kaotalo, was ok (more or less) But as mentioned before, only 0.5 Mbit Upload. Is there any "farang-friendly" website from 3BB? EDIT: found it already. http://www.3bb.co.th/product/en/index.php I think the 9MB package seems to be ok. Bagwan
I have found 3BB satisfies my needs which its subsidiary TT&T never did.
BIGJIMMY
Until recently the internet we had at our house was from TT&T but all the bills had 3BB written all over them, I went to the 3BB office in Carrefour if we had a problem, we were paying 845 baht per month and we were supposed to be getting 5mb but normally only got 3mb, our house is in Soi Siam Country Club, my point is if we re-connect with 3BB surely it'll be TT&T again, whats the difference with 3BB and TT&T?? I have been looking at Sophon cable, they are advertising 10mb with fibre optic. HELP!! Jimmy

Call 3bb and tell them to come service your line. 845baht should be at least 8mb down 900 baht 9mb down. 15/9/2011 true ultra should be here off soi siam as i already ordered it. 10mb down for 690 i think....
