Out of country at the moment, but keeping up with the news and photgraphs of the recent flooding, especially on Sukhumvit Road.

Wonder what effect this will have on the proposed underpass arrangements. ?

Off topic, but in all the photographs, I never saw a single jet ski. What an opportunity missed to;

(a) make money as a taxi service

( retrieve lost reputations as they could have been used for Samaritan work.

Oh sorry, that would involve charity which does not make money

The underpass will be used to hold all the flood water and allow the rest of Sukhumvit to be clear.

The city officials need to worry about proper drainage, saving Pattaya Bay Beach from erosion, and repairing its sidewalks and removing debris laying around before coming up with a losing nightmare such as the underpass.

The underpass may well happen? they have one through the center of Khon Kean that took only 3 or 4 years to build

It floods regularly!

Obviously the superior Pattaya roads work engineering department would come up with a superior design that would be bone dry - year round!
