Seo Advice Needed

Featured Replies

Seems there are quite a few knowledgeable SEO'ers on thaivisa!

Im curious to know what everyone's experiences here have been with getting ranked for keywords in thai language on google.co.th though?

See Google's advice on SEO. The links is where the technical stuff is, but have a read of the rest of the page too - note the first bullet point:

Be wary of SEO firms and web consultants or agencies that send you email out of the blue.

I'm not going to mince words here, the vast majority of "SEO consultants" are lying scum. Do it yourself (you can) or choose a *reputable* firm. Ignore all unsolicited offers, unless you are the kind of person that accepts free tuk tuk tours of Bangkok.

And even if you do go with a reputable firm, do not pay an exhorbitant fee, and absolutely do not hire anyone that can't explain in simple terms exactly what they will do and how it will help, because there *is no magic*. Most of it is simply following good practice in web design and web publishing, and its all public knowledge.

And anyone that offers you a "backlink builder" programme (aka hiring random third world people to post spam links in forums for a few cents, thereby damaging the reputation of your business) - hell has a place for them.
