Black Mustard Seeds

Featured Replies

If anyone could direct me where to find black mustard seeds (and the name in Thai) I would be most grateful. Thanks.

You can certainly find it in Macro. But anywhere where they have Indian spices should have black mustard seeds.

if you're in BKK the indian shop on the ground floor of the Rembrandt Hotel complex has got 'em, Suk soi 18 (if it's still there...haven't been in a couple of years)

Don't know where you are , but Little India has the full range of seeds and spices. Maybe ,the best shop for you is Nisa Sachdev, 329 Soi Protooleck, ( near the Sikh temple), Chakraphet Road, Pranakorn,Bangkok.Tel: 0814455736 . At lunchtime ,at the entrance to the Soi ,an Indian couple make splendid samosas. YUM..On the other side of the main road ,are lots of Indian restaurants, veg and non-veg, cheap to expensive.

Seems like good tips if you're in Bangkok... if in Chiangmai, there is a local market near Narawat bridge... inside the main bldg, there is (or at least was) an Indian lady selling Indian spices.

Thank you all. Found it in Makro which is near my place. They have a large selection.
