The lack of any translation is a positive - it means you learn the language by associating an image with a sound, pretty much the same way as you do with your first language, and you don't get hung up on trying to make literal sense of grammar and syntax which follow different rules to that of English. I think "any" learning tool is fine. The problem most people have is finding something you stick with. If I had a nickel for every Thai language book/cd/dvd....well, I'd have a lot of nickels! wrevelate Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 it s worth 150 baht. i more than half way through it now. i do the lesson and then print it off and read it the next day, so it s a good reading exercise as well. it s one more angle you can add to your language learning approach, so why not. i like it.
