yes indeed

i have always used the same guy for 8 years

he has made rings from pictures, changed stones around, dismantled my gold watch and re-polished it, and many other jobs, he is utterly trustworthy

he has recently moved from his old shop down a little soi, which i knew well so i can only describe where he is now

his new shop is on the lower part of Pattaya thai

the section after Tonys market and Mityon motorcycles

its on the left side approaching the beach

its between the traffic lights at 3rd road and the yellow Bank premises

almost opposite the cycle shop on the other side

if you get to friendship, you have gone too far

if you do, park there and walk back towards the 3d road junction

i hope that helps NL

'yes indeed'... do you mean this is the same guy that I was asking after? Boon from Kelly's Gems?

Otherwise is this a reliable chap that you have used for 8 years and highly recommend? Either way, good to know. Thanks!

There is a place in Soi BJ I have used in the past to fix things. Though when I want pieces made, I commission the girl in the old Boon-Eua Shopping Plaza in Pattaya Tai.

You can see it here: http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/?pSuRUKvokcSG

Perhaps sixty metres from the beach road.

Is she the only girl in that shopping plaza? Is there a shop name? Specific location?

Cheers!

i don't know Boon but think its not him

this guy has always been an independent when i have known him

his work is excellent, he is an older Ed Asner looking man

he made a ring that Tom Selleck wore as Magnum from a small picture

he guessed the dimensions

my friend was delighted with it

Yes, she is the only jeweller there. You can't miss it.

Girlfriend wanted a few designer pieces. Had them made up for her. Definitely not easy pieces, as all had moving parts. She still wearing them now, years later.
