Need Help On Reason To Return To Thai After Uk Family Visa Expires

Featured Replies

Hi all,i am in the process of applying for a family visitor visa for my thai wife and am stuck on her reason to return to thailand.we have known each other since 2005 and got married in thailand in 2010.we had a child feb 2011 and i am in the uk at the moment and she is living with her mother looking after our daughter.my wife owns no land, no house and i support her while she lives over there.we are serious about our relationship and will eventually settle in the uk but what reason can i give that will convince the ECO that she will return once the visa has expired.any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Fully explain your situation in your sponsor's letter: why you live in the UK and your wife and child in Thailand, why she is only visiting at this time rather than applying for settlement and what your plans for the future are.
