Maybe if some of you supposedly older and wiser guys would let her grow up a little, she could get things together. I don't think you guys are doing her any favors by molly codelling her. She seems like she's a nice girl but that is what she is, A GIRL. Please don't try to make her grow up too fast. Very different to be in your 30s and not want to grow up and be taken a fool, but to make someone think that they have the knowledge of life BEFORE their years is WRONG. In the “Control Panel” you can “Manage your ignored users” which definitely improves the overall TV experience. Note that you can also turn off avatars. So now I’ve got my TV ads blocked, avatars turned off and most of these high-volume/low-quality posters ignored. Aah, the beauty of software. I haven't been a member very long but I've been given some very helpful advice and information by mods and those vastly more experienced members than I, and I thank you all for it. I've also been flamed sometimes, to the extent that I don't think I could get away with, but I try to stand my corner by way of self modded replies, or I ignore the flames. IMO some members seem to be able to get away with a bit more than others, maybe receiving a light hearted reprimand at most. Maybe something stronger by PM or actual word of mouth, but I don't know that. Being a mod can't be easy, finding the right balance must be a nightmare at times, but the slightest hint of a flame has to be an absolute no no from them. I have never felt the urge to really post on here due to the clique-ness of the site. I read it on a daily basis but just don’t have the urge to risk posting and being jumped on by some of the long term members.So why is there such an urge to berate and bully new members and give sarcastic advise to them? Time and time again is see people threatening to tell somebody else about something that has been said get them ‘banned’ or ‘officially warned’. Just curious to know why this forum is so much more inaccessible to new people. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good post.Thailand is full of double standards and TV is no exception.They really get on me but I enjoy it.Thousands of posts?They have my sympathy,I guess it is cheap entertainment.I have been here a long time(see posts not many)I get bored I look at TV.I wrote into Bangkok post and the Nation for years.50% hate me 50% like me.I just tell it like it is and let the chips fall.They don't pay my rent!
