Songkran Festival plans announced at Nong Nooch Gardens in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--Nong Nooch Gardens in Jomtien, one of the area’s most popular tourist attractions is preparing their Songkran Festival to be held between 13^th and 16^th April.

A press conference led by Khun Wirawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, Khun Chaichan, Chief of Sattahip District and Khun Chaiwat, Regional Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand announced the Nong Nooch Songkran Festival which will focus on the traditional aspects of the Songkran Water Festival.

Their elephants will play a large part in the water fighting

Didn't the health dept recently warn against using elephants to spray water on people as it could spread tuberculosis?

are you sure. i have got Thai price with my Thai driving licence before.

Must admit it was a coupleof years ago i tried ,may give it another go ,but i never ever use places that will not give me thai price with my driving licence.

I have always got the resident price with my thai dl. Although it should be said that the thai price at nong nooch doesn't include tickets to both of the shows. I think you have to chose one (ie elephant)
