Learn Thai Cooking In Chalong Or Rawai ?

My wife and I are curently in Phuket staying not far from Rawai riding club.

She is a Pro chef cook, she was running catering events for embassies and high profile people in Brussels.

She would like to learn the basics of Thai cooking. The offer around is maynly focusing on getting tourist busy for an afternoon than real cooking.

She would love to spend some time on an exchange of knowledge and train on basics or advanced techniques and receipes of western french cuisine. She is also ready to pay a reasonable fee. She speak french, dutch and vehicular english.

If you know someone who could be interested let me know.

Just a suggestion:

At the local markets you find Thai food stalls selling a large selection of traditionally prepared Thai dishes (By traditional I mean prepared with real stock or with bones still present in the dish and spices for Thai taste, as opposed to the tourist varieties of the dishes). You could hire a translator to talk to the owner and arrange an appointment to observe them preparing those dishes and take the translator to the appointment, too.

there are several thai cooking schools around but i'n not sure what you are looking for?

is it to work with a trained Thai chef in a high end restuarant or just hang with a Thai person who cooks good food at home?

and what is "vehicular english"? she only knows car related words?
