Muse74
Hello, Where can I get a mini rice cooker and how much would it cost? I am looking for around 2-cup capacity as it's only for temporary use and will probably give it away when I leave the country so I don't need anything fancy and pricey. Cheers, Rosy
jinjinswing
You can get a rice cooker from robinsons or any of the major centre that sell to farangs, I picked my plastic 2 cup job with ceramic inner bowel for around 250 in centre world bkk, Its used in a microwave. Seems they don't over stock this so I did do some hunting around for it, most of the big stores do stock it but in very limited quantities. attrayant
If its just for the short term, I would probably just use an ordinary 2qt. saucepan to cook rice. Thats how I used to do it before rice cookers were invented. Of course the rice doesn't stay hot all day, you'll have to microwave any leftovers that are more than an hour or two old. dsprtliving
I spotted some relatively small rice cookers last week as i was trolling through the small appliance section last week at Central Chit Lom. Have you tried there?
