I see this morning that the Govt is still denying that there is a sugar shortage, do these idiots ever actually go out and check before opening their mouths? On Chaeng Wattana road Carrefour, Tesco Lotus and Big C haven't had a bag of white sugar on the shelves for the past week, only that off white/brownish stuff. I was able to buy some cubes yesterday so that'll keep my tea sweet for a while, and no problem with soft brown sugar for my coffee either.
