If you are located in Thailand you can contact The Chamber of Commerce if you plan to export any type of quantity. If you are located outside of Thailand you can start by contacting a Thai Trade Commission office in your country. There are also International Gift Fairs in Thailand where these products are available for export, and if you can get a hold of an book which lists products and sellers, it is a better start than going into a retail outlet to purchase them.

Check with the country that you want import or export from Crocodile and some snakes are on the endangers species list. You do need permits from the country of export and import if they are a signatory to CITES. Thailand is. Do your komework forst.

Another hint:

Snake Skin

Snakes are commonly found throughout all areas of Thailand, yet many of them are not protected by any type of law or legislation. Some snake skin based products that are sold in Thailand are perfectly legal and with the snakes being bred on a snake farm for the purpose of being used in clothing, fashion accessories or as souvenirs.

However, any products which have been made from the skin of either pythons or cobras will be illegal as both of these types of snakes are protect by both Thai and international law.

In Thailand, unfortunately, there is not a lot of grip on laws, mafia, illegal animal trading and certain money coffee1.gif
