Hello

My nationality is United States of America.

I recently travelled to the Thai Consulate/Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I applied for and received a Non-Immigrant Category O single-entry visa.

I should have and wanted to get a Non-Immigrant Category O multiple-entry visa.

I noticed that on the visa inside my passport there was a red stamp stating "Permited to apply visa at Phnom Penh for only this time."

My question is. Can i reapply at the Thai Consulate/Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for a Non-Immigrant Category O multiple-entry visa when my current visa expires?

Has anyone recently been to the Thai Consulate/Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and successfully applied for and received a Non-Immigrant multiple-entry visa?

thanks

You do not say anything about your reasons for the Non Immigrant O visa.

If you are married to a Thai citizen or have a work permit, you may be able to extend the

visa within Thailand.

There was a post, in the News section I think, where the Embassy in Cambodia made it quite

clear that they are not interested in issuing visas, other than to Cambodian citizens.

If you do need another visa you will be much better of travelling to Penang in Malaysia.

Provided you have the right paperwork for the visa, you will have no problem down there.

As mentioned you have not said on what basis you believe you are entitled to a multi entry O non immigrant visa. Very few Consulates are happy to issue such visas; especially in Asia.

As for Phnom Penh the answer is no you will not receive a multi entry and you will not receive another single entry O visa. You are expected to extend your stay in Thailand at an immigration office if you want to stay here longer.

I think the answer is blindingly obvious even to a thicko Irishman like me Yes, of course you can. :o

He can try, and if they are really nasty they will take his money and then refuse the visa.

The RED stamp says once only!!

I believe them.

I am married to a Thai Citizen.

I do not have the required 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account to extend my stay at an Immigration office in Thailand.

Is Singapore a good place to go to get a multiple-entry visa?
