I am coming back from a Samui holiday in September and will be landing in Utapao Airport. Is there any readily available transport from there to go to Pattaya? Or should I just book a taxi to pick us up? I have been quoted 650 baht for a taxi from Mr T taxi. How have you done it? Thank You.

That's a pretty good price for door to door service. And guaranteed to be there to pick you up.

Bangkok Airways used to have a shuttle to Pattaya, but in checking now, I can't find any info on it. The price quoted by Mr T is a decent price.

There is a minibus service to greet all arrivals at U-Tapou, If I remember right they charge 250 baht per head for transport to Pattaya.

Don't worry, you wont be stranded there.
