webfact Posted October 23, 2012 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Navy Arrest Illegal Fishermen in Pattaya Waters By Staff Reporter PATTAYA: -- The Navy and coastguard mounted a joint operation on Monday, to take control of a fishing boat, being operated on the Pattaya Coastline by Cambodian fishermen, who had illegally entered the kingdom. The ship and crew were intercepted 1 mile off the Sattahip coast, as it tended to crab traps, and on board the captain and his crew of 7 were arrested. brianP Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 If you do a google sat map of Thai-Cambodia border you see the green of Thailand and the brown of Cambodia's deforestation, they have stripped the local seas too and now need to travel to well managed fisheries elsewhere.
