Is anyone able to advise me please just where I might go to purchase cattle/hog panels in Chiang Mai?

Made something very similar with bamboo. Didn't cost a Satang.

Cooked, would love to see a photo if you have one. Did you need to treat the bamboo with anything? Do you have any problems with mites/lice or termites?

I'm afraid not. It didn't look very tidy and was intended as a temporary measure anyway. I cut green bamboo, split it and trimmed it until it was bendable, pushed one end into the ground and started weaving the stuff. Easy and good fun lasted about 3 years I think, I don't think that they would keep a determined pig in, I had chickens.

I don't think that you can treat bamboo, the Thais just know that it won't last long. When the thatch roof died, I built a more solid version.
