Fire damages condo in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA:--At midday on Friday a team of Pattaya City firemen were called to the 9 Carat condominium in Soi Arunotai opposite Big C Extra in Central Pattaya where a fire had broken out in a condo on the seventh floor.

The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes and no other rooms were affected. It is believed the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit

Has to be a nightmare thought for those on the floors above. I wonder if sprinkler systems etc. are fitted?

My building has sprinklers. It is a cut above 9 Carat though. Several cuts in fact.
