Two men arrested in Pattaya with drugs and a hand grenade

PATTAYA:--At 12.10am on Friday Pattaya police patrolling in Soi Buakhao in Central Pattaya stopped a Thai man driving a motorbike in a routine control.

The man, Khun Somchai aged 27, was found to be in possession of one pack of the class one drug, Methamphetamine, weighing 0.39 grams.

Police accompanied him to his room in the same soi where they found another Thai man Khun Pawarit aged 20 who had a hand grenade tied around his neck on a nylon string. Police also found 2 Yaba tablets in the room.

The men said they had rented the room to take drugs and party
