cornishcarlos
Originally we were going to spill the beans, now though we are cultivating grey matter.... What's this all about no more spilling beans? You throw in a couple of chicks and that's it? Please be concrete... Coffee shop now turned into an English school So it wasn't really super cryptic ! Then again he really was much bigger than he looks in the picture.

Popular Post shaggy1969
One day my wife said to me " Shaggy Mama want to eat some fish, will you take me to the market? I think you will like it " There was me thinking that we were going to our local market.......... it turned out that this market was 20 km away and I was I for a nice surprise. Shot from the left hand side of the bridge at Taa Lai Lot (the middle of the bridge is the border between Kalasin and Udon Thani). Wow thinks me....that,s pretty awesome.

shaggy1969
Wow, do the fish swim upstream or downstream? You wouldn't think the trap at the further end is going to see many fish It's not actually a river mate,it is the start (or end) of the Lam Pao Dam so there won't be a tidal flow. I would imagine that the fish still run though and have their own territories and swim.........it must be hell for the fish trying to get from A to B. Many of the nets didn't have a trap and were only a hanging net.Even so the odds are not in the fishes favor with there being so many nets in the water. I wondered with it being in the shallow of the Dam if it was used as a spawning ground for some of the fish. Btw how's the mushrooms going..........must be time for a few photos of the monsters again
Popular Post shaggy1969
After seeing the amazing view from the bridge I knew that I had to find a way down to the waters edge to get myself a better look. One of the first people we saw were a nice old couple that were taking shade from the sun in their hut.Whilst waiting to haul their net. We sat down and chatted with them for a while, the old man said that he had been fishing there for the past 40 years. In that time he had only seen it flooded a few times, but I would imagine that it would have to be one helleva to fill up the Lam Pao. The old gent was kind enough to show me one of the cat fish he had caught earlier in the day and also let us see his net in action. No fish in his net,but nice to watch it in action. As you can see by the colour of the sky, there was a downpour on it's way.....Unfortunately for the Missus and Me we had to ride through it to get home. All 20 km's of it
Ron19
Sister in-law is manually harvesting corn at the moment and I am told this variety is only used for stock feed or maybe some manufactured products. Popular Post Dancealot
Have got another rope for you farmer's(to be). This is adjacent to the cabbage fields. What is this rope being used for in the picture? I alerted several of the guards while I was manually zooming in on them. This little fellow who is in pic number 1 was keeping a close eye on me..
