Bluetooth

Featured Replies

I have a pc and my wife's mobile has bluetooth that supports 1.1 (whatever that means.) What do i need to buy/attach to enable the phone to talk to the computer? I'm after the cheapest option, which may be a USB cable or bluetooth. Any help would be much appreciated.

What model is your wife's phone? If you want to connect it to a laptop, try infrared, just get it close to it and the connection setup should come up. A Bluetooth adapter can be bought for about 400B, I reckon and it would allow you to have a wireless connection with the phone in your pocket, not directly aligned like is the case with simple infrared. USB cable is cheaper than Bluetooth, 100B should get you one.

It's a Nokia 6111. I guess a cable would involve an expensive one, 100B sounds fantastic.
