My OE is not sending mail to some people. I could send using hotmail, but now it looks like it doesn't work either - there is no message in the sent message bit.

Can anyone help/advise please?

Why not reinstall it completely or try using some free alternatives? Like Opera or firefox for the IE, there are e-mail alternatives out there!

Either Hotmail suckes...and it actually does, or you have some settings wrong. But difficult to say from here.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a lovely replacement to Outlook as well.

Or try from OE Tools/Options/Send and see if the "save copy of sent messages in the "Sent Items" Folder " is enabled

Hope that helps,

I agree 100% , Outlook is the worst mail client to be found on a computer , as hotmail , both M$ craps. Though very fine if you like to be infested by all kind of viruses.

And Thunderbird is just what you need to replace it.

Outlook Express is the Tool Of Satan. It is like Outlook with all of the good features removed. Please do yourself a favour and try something else!

Thunderbird is pretty good and rarely crashes.

Cheers guys - can I transfer all my messages from OE to the Thunderbird?

Yes, you can import it easily from OE to Thunderbird Tools/Import/Mail next /Outlook express

OK you're using Microsoft "Outlook", but is your POP3 server Hotmail.com?

Yep but you need to make sure that Thunderbird is selected as your default email client before attempting the import or it won't work (it will ask you about this anyway).
