Identification now required to make a cash deposits at Thai Banks?
I had to get a new ATM card from my bank as one of Their machines had swallowed my card, for no reason and would not eject it, then their machine said not working. I had to sign pieces of paper (some twice) more than some do to get a Retirement visa, plus the photo taken. oh but it didn't stop there, my book was also full, so more paperwork, signatures, and desk photo. -

Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system
I think it depends on the office. I've seen many first-hand reports of rejections, along with a reason. Lately, it's been due to the new-ish requirement to report in person after returning from a trip outside of Thailand. Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required. -

Huw Edwards given suspended sentence over indecent images of children
I unequivocally support the right of Edwards, or indeed anyone no matter what their crime, to be afforded a qualified, competent and unbiased legal support during their investigation, arrest and trial. Why anyone would defend Edwards after his conviction is a mystery. If you can’t find a more deserving hill to die on, at least try to find one that isn’t at this end of the scale of perversion. I personally would like to see his sentence reviewed and raised to some serious time in prison. -

Bank Statement for Non-OA visa based on Monthly Income
Good morning Has anyone successfully requested the 12-month statement using the Bangkok Bank App? If so, did you request it in Thai or English. Then once you received it and presumably printed it, was it relatively simple to get the "letter" from the bank stating that you had indeed received monthly income greater than 65000THB? Many thanks. -

More dishonesty. I said there was more than 1 picture of 7 to 9 year olds. He also said he approved the sending of "young", "naughty" pictures. Not at all. I said they included pictures of 7-9 year olds. He did receive more than one picture of 7 to 9 year olds. I never claimed they were all that age. Some were 11-13, some 13-15. Many in category A. Truly revolting stuff. Speak for yourself. But actually most of them were 13 to 15 (not sure why you keep dishonestly increasing their age to try to make the crime seem less serious). The man is 63 years old, and was married with 5 kids. Stop downplaying his disgusting crimes. People who pay for these images create the market for the rape of children.- 1
