Salapoo
First they changed my battery. 700b. Bike was fine. Next day same thing happened. Looked further into it and they said they needed the stator, plus engine oil and oil gasket (iirc), 2700b. Hardly exspensive and good to get things replaced. I watched them check the voltage with the engine running, so hopefully it will be ok. I tried to get them to test the battery while the terminals were on and bike off to see if there was any current draw. But - mai kow jai... Anyway, you have to stick a resistor on the positive terminal, then use a meter and measure across it (one lead on each end of resistor) if anything shows, divide that number by the value of the resistor and you have the current draw. BSJ
I recently got one of these off Ebay. They are excellent and really condition the battery when you're not using the vehicle. CTEK MXS 5.0 Batterie Ladegerät Got mine at Kawasaki Pattaya. Works great. I fitted the push pin leads so I don't have to unbolt the seat to connect it. Ps: I just saw it's 5 Amp model, mine is 3 Amp. Edited June 4, 2013 by BSJ
